Texas financial aid hotline

On the state level, the Texas Financial Aid Information Center is available to students, administrators and the public seeking information about student financial aid. The toll-free number is (888) 311-8881, and financial aid representatives are available to receive calls on Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Central Time). Bilingual representatives are available for Spanish-speaking callers. The Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (in collaboration with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) operates the Center.
