With the number of limited English proficient students in Texas at almost 18 percent and rising, teachers are hungry for knowledge they can use to have a positive impact on the progress and performance of English language learners (ELL). Hernandez will tell you how to address the cognitive needs of ELL students. You’ll build a repertoire of instructional skills and resources and learn effective strategies that enhance instruction and promote academic achievement.
