Our statewide awards honor those who have made outstanding contributions to public education, the teaching profession or TCTA during the past year.
Participation in the awards program is an opportunity for TCTA local affiliates and members-at-large to publicly recognize local members and others who impact their schools and profession. It's also a great way for CTAs to attract positive attention from the media, peers and administrators. Nominations for most awards must be submitted by the CTA president, or a member-at-large in an area in which there is no TCTA local affiliate. Nomination materials must be received by Feb. 15, 2017.
“The TCTA Awards Program is a excellent way to let everyone know that we are proud of the work classroom teachers do, day in and day out.”
—Donna Corbin, 2016-17 TCTA State President (and former president of Lubbock CTA, an active participant in the Awards Program)
