The CSCOPE governing board announced in late August 2013 that the curriculum management system will no longer be known as CSCOPE, but will be renamed the TEKS Resource System. The board launched a new website – – Aug. 30, 2013, to provide more information to the public about the governing entity and the resource system.

According to the board, the TEKS Resource System will contain components that assist teachers in implementing the Texas standards adopted by the State Board of Education. These resources are provided in the four core content areas: mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. Sample lessons will not be provided within the system. Additionally, all lesson plans that were available in the old site and on the public site were removed by Aug. 31, 2013.
